Paint the Town Red is a sad vampire RPG from SoulMuppet Publishing about depression, partying and falling in love, and explores themes of trauma, vice and loneliness. Set against the backdrop of history's greatest cities, playing a game of Paint the Town Red feel more like a boozy night out on the town than a heroic quest, complete with pre-drinks, loud music, smoking areas and hangovers.

History's greatest cities become your playground in this game of partying through the pain and misery of death. You'll attend parties, soirees, balls, functions, gatherings, reunions, celebrations, jamborees; anything to add a little sugar and spice to your eternal boredom.

Inevitably your shenanigans will bring the weight of mortal (and undead) society crashing down on your head, and you'll have to take the party somewhere else and find a new place to slake your thirst. I've heard Charlemagne's court is nice this time of year.

Something very bad happened to you a very long time ago: you died and it fucking hurt. 

Your blood is cold, but your skin is colder. Your heart might as well be made of stone. Your memory is like treacle. Sometimes, you even remember to blink. 

Being dead sucks, but I know what will make you feel better. Wet your mouth a little, have a drink! It’s time for a party.
